‘ARK: Survival Evolved’ Release Date, Latest News & Updates: Studio Wildcard To Postpone ‘ARK: Survival Of The Fittest’ Beta Release? Earlier Release Of ‘ARK: Survival Evolved’ Possible

Following the release of "ARK: Survival Evolved" PC v245.0 patch notes on Steam Community last week, Studio Wildcard announced a good and a bad news to all "ARK" fans. For the good, the game developer is reportedly working on for an earlier full release of "ARK: Survival Evolved" while the bad news, Studio Wildcard is postponing the release of "ARK: Survival of the Fittest" this month.

'ARK: Survival Of The Fittest' Release Date Postponed

Studio Wildcard recently announced that the July 19 PS4 release of "ARK: Survival Evolved" supposed Multiplayer Online Survival Arena titled, "ARK: Survival of the Fittest" has been postponed. According to Studio Wildcard's blog post on PlayStation Blog, the development of the latest "ARK" beta where players have to fight against many players and the last person alive will be hailed as the winner have been put on hold indefinitely to concentrate on the PS4 release of "ARK: Survival Evolved."

"Hey ARK fans, Studio Wildcard is putting the PS4 version of ARK: Survival of the Fittest on hold in order to focus on preparing ARK: Survival Evolved for PS4 release," Studio Wildcard senior Technical and gameplay designer Kayd Hendricks said in a statement, as per PlayStationLifeStyle. "While this means ARK: Survival of the Fittest won't be releasing on PS4 in July 2016, we're working towards an earlier release of ARK: Survival Evolved."

'ARK: Survival Evolved' And 'ARK: Survival Of The Fittest' Release Date

After the postponement of "ARK: Survival of the Fittest," Studio Wildcard has yet to announce the official PS4 release dates for both "ARK: Survival Evolved" and its supposed Multiplayer Online Survival Arena. But according to GameRanx, Studio Wildcard may release "ARK: Survival of the Fittest" a couple of months after the release of "ARK: Survival Evolved," which is expected to be fully launched in the holiday season of 2016.

'ARK: Survival Evolved' PlayStation VR Support

Prior to the full release of "ARK: Survival Evolved," Studio Wildcard has been working hard to improve their dino-themed survival game. In fact, the developer has launched several updates that aim to stabilize its net code, as well as to add more dinosaurs, technology tiers, tool and many other things.

What's more interesting, however, is the fact that Studio Wildcard will be launching "ARK: Survival Evolved" with PlayStation VR support. SegmentNext reveals the reason behind this move is to offer a "better experience" to gamers who are struggling for their survival.
