Although hopes were built that return by Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert) in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will see Ian Somerhalder stay on even after Kat Graham exits Bonnie Bennett for "TVD," The CW series is apparently not so lucky.

E! News reports that Mystic Falls will not only be losing Kat Graham (as Bonnie Bennett) but also Ian Somerhalder as (as Damon Salvatore) and Paul Wesley (as Stefan) after "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. This is because The CW is wrapping up "The Vampire Diaries" series.

  Parent Herald reports that Kat Graham gave "The Vampire Diaries" fans a shocker by announcing that Season 8 is the end for Bonnie Bennett. Even "The Vampire Diaries" executive producer Julie Plec was surprised that Kat Graham announced her departure so early.
