‘Narcos’ Season 2 Trailer: Pablo Escobar Escapes 4,000 Soldiers? Action-Packed Hunt Begins

The second season of "Narcos" looks all set for its released in September, with Netflix revealing the first trailer. Packed with action, the trailer shows the beginning of the hunt for Pablo Escobar.

Pablo Escobar Escapes Thousands of Soldiers

"Narcos" Season 2 trailer shows Pablo Escobar escaping 4,000 of soldiers and a bunch of helicopters. "It was the biggest law enforcement blunder of all time," DEA agent Steve Murphy (Boyd Holbrook) says. "And now we wanted payback."

Pablo Escobar says in the preview clip, "Pablo Escobar is to be respected." Gunfires, bombs, violence on the streets-yet Pablo Escobar remains free. How was he able to do that? He, sure, is a tough nut.

The first season ended with Pablo Escobar's escape, and that's where the second season will pick up. As Netflix puts it, "History is the biggest spoiler," and by now, everyone pretty much knows what's going to happen to Pablo Escobar. As Parent Herald earlier learned, "Narcos" Season 2 is going to end with Pablo Escobar's death, a scene that the production team said they have recreated as close as possible to reality.

Who Is Good and Who Is Bad In 'Narcos'?

On the outset, it may look to people that the bad guy in "Narcos" is Pablo Escobar and his cocaine empire, and the good guys are the American agents sent to a third world country to save people. But Wagner Moura, who plays Pablo Escobar, told Rolling Stone, "Netflix never wanted to make this show about good American cops that go to a third-world country to save poor people from a bad guy. This concept of [who is] good and who is bad is always being played with."

"Narcos" Season 2 is scheduled to be released on Sept. 2. Escobar's real-life brother Roberto Escobar was recently demanding that he should be allowed to review the show before it comes out and to be paid about $1 billion.
