Children of America:The Key To Bridging Partisan Divide

Whether republicans or democrats, we are still in one nation. The election is neither about the officials nor the voters, it is actually about the future of our today's children. However, why is it that the American kids are usually part of the minority among the critical groups of the society when in reality, their voice matters.

The American children can bridge the partisan divide. The Hill online magazine relates that "the power of increased access to early childhood education to bridge the political divide is clear." A poll released by SCAN last year presented that majority of voters in the battleground states: Florida, Colorado, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Ohio, believe that investing in high-quality early childhood education is critical to the future of America. It showed that "87 percent of Republicans, 89 percent of independents and 94 percent of Democrats said the years zero to 5 are extremely or very important to the learning and development of a child."

The first seven years of a child is very crucial. Thus education in this early period of life should be prioritized. It is therefore important that everyone should give much important to kids and their education no matter the constraints in the other budgets. Education budget should be proposed to increase and the educational system should be upgraded.

Problems that are part of the partisan divide like the K-12 curriculum should be solved more easily with a more united spirit. This should be addressed not for anyone's own benefit but just for the kids themselves. Abolish the self-centered platforms.

To ensure equal opportunity for all kids while investing in our shared future, all parties agree that we cannot wait any longer to accomplish meaningful change. Thus this should be used to be once and for all united to attain a goal that is most especially for the benefit of the future leaders and world changers.
