'GTA 6' News & Update: New Characters In Rockstar Game To Be Joined By 'Grand Theft Auto' Returnees?

News on "GTA 6" by Rockstar are not only highly watched at the moment for whether "Grand Theft Auto" will be done Stateside or in London, but also for new characters coming in. Significantly, "GTA 6" is expected to shift to female protagonist Eva Mendes and male counterpart Ryan Gosling, but also reportedly with possible "Grand Theft Auto" returnees.

Movie Pilot cites Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser on the "GTA" consensus on a female protagonist. "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character?" Dan Houser said. "Of course, we just haven't found the right game for it yet."

Parent Herald cites reports that "GTA 6" is the "Grand Theft Auto" iteration that Rockstar finally brings in a female protagonist into the game. While a sector of fans believe that "Grand Theft Auto" is no place for a female protagonist, a number of "GTA" followers think otherwise.

The loudest buzz toward this direction says Rockstar is bringing in Eva Mendes to "GTA 6" with Ryan Gosling playing the make counterpart in "Grand Theft Auto." "GTA 6" may branch out into more new shifts from "Grand Theft Auto" defaults besides signing up Eva Mendes to play a female protagonist.
