WWE Shaq vs. Big Show: Shaquille O'Neal To Appear On Wrestle Mania 33 [VIDEO]

The WWE reported on August 9 the booking of a "Shaq VS. Big Show" wrestling match, slated to occur within the Wrestle Mania 33 show.  This match has been one of the most highly anticipated pro wrestling match-ups between the two wrestling superstars yet. The match is set on April 2, 2017 in Orlando, Florida.

CBS Sports recently revealed through an interview with professional wrestler, Paul Wight "Big Show" that Big Show plans his long awaited match against former NBA superstar, Shaquille O'Neal, during an upcoming WWE tour. Shaq is no stranger to the WWE Wrestling ring, as he has appeared choke-slamming his way through the ranks of the World Wrestling fame. During the tribute show to the great Andre the Giant, the former star of the esteemed Los Angeles Lakers appeared as a surprise celebrity guest where he took to the ring alongside Wight for the Battle Royal show. The two wrestling giants tested their might against seasoned WWE veteran wrestler, Kane.

Big Show officially challenged O'neal during a red carpet event where he humorously remarked that he would like to enjoy something fun before he leaves his profession. He then poked fun at his opponent stating that Shaq should treat him to a meal after the match. Both Big Show and Shaquille O'Neal are seen in an interview shaking hands and agreeing to the match in a friendly sportsman-like manner. While the two appear to be friends, the interactions between them during the grand event is sure to be less of a docile event.

According to Movienewsguide.com, Big show, weighing in at 500lbs, holds quite a significant weight advantage over Shaquille O'Neal who weighs in at 325lbs, but holds the height advantage standing seven-feet-one-inches. Both contenders are 45 years of age and looking forward to settling a score that has been left unsettled for 7 years now.
