'High School Musical 4' Release Date, Latest News & Cast: Zac Efron Wants Vanessa Hudgens Back? Efron Won't See Hudgens Again

"High School Musical 4" is actually happening and fans of the show will be able to see the Wild Cats again. The big question though is if Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron will find each other's arms in "HSM" again.

Zac Efron and Vanesa Hudgens were the stars of "High School Musical" and they also dated for four years that started during the movies. After they ended their relationship, the two began to date other people with Hudgens now dating Austin Butler while Zac Efron has not been in any serious relationship after Vanessa.

With "High School Musical 4" coming, according to E! Online, a lot on people's minds is if the two would come back even for a cameo and just provide its fans a good story ending for Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez. A good story line the two could do is to play as mentors to the new Wild Cats while they are also finding their way to lost love.

However, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have not confirmed if they were even given an offer for "High School Musical 4" by Disney or if they would even come back to reprise their roles. The last time the whole cast was which includes Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman were together was during the "High School Musical" reunion.

Zac Efron could not join them because he was busy with filming his new movie. But fans are assuming that he was just not ready to see Vanessa Hudgens again. It has been years since the two parted ways and probably seeing each other again would make them and the cast feel uncomfortable.

While a new "High School Musical 4" talents will be introduced to a new generation, it would be great to see for those who grew up with "HSM" to see familiar faces which made most of us sang and fall in love with them all over again.
