'Steven Universe' Season 3 Episode 24 Recap: 'Bubbled' Features Steven Telling Eyeball He Is Rose Quartz

"Steven Universe" Season 3 episode 24 entitled "Bubbled" just aired and in it, Steven was seen revealing to Eyeball that he is Rose Quartz. It was an emotional one as Steven was reeling from the happenings in "Back to the Moon."

"Bubbled" opened up with Steven floating through space and he hid himself inside a bubble in an attempt to protect himself. The other Rubies were tumbling through space when the eyeball Ruby, or Eyeball for short, could not stop yelling and ranting at Steven and blamed him for what happened, iDigitalTimes reported.

In the "Bubbled" episode of "Steven Universe" Season 3, Steven profusely apologized for sending Eyeball's platoon into space but she would not forgive him so they end up angrily agreeing that they cannot wait to die alone in space. Eyeball continues to tell Steven that she should have never come back and could not believe that the Crystal Gems were still on earth.

She continued to wonder if Rose Quartz is still alive then Steven nervously revealed that he is Rose Quartz. Eyeball refuses to believe it and said, "Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me four times, you already fooled me and you can't fool me again." He then tried to summon the shield of Rose Quartz to prove that he is her son but he fails, A.V. Club reported. He also showed a photo of his mother on his phone so Eyeball could see that Steven is the son of Rose Quartz but Eyeball thought it was just an elaborate joke.

Before he could explain further in "Bubbled" that he is RoseQuartz's son, they hit an asteroid field and one asteroid hit Eyeball. Steven pulls Eyeball inside his bubble then offers to heal her cracked gem. That was the time that Eyeball believed Steven is Rose Quartz.

"Steven Universe" Season 3 episode 24 takes a dark turn as Eyeball tries to kill Steven. She wanted to kill him for the shattering of Pink Diamond. Steven could not stop her so he dissolved his bubble for quite a time to send Eyeball out. He then closes the bubble and is once again alone. Later, the Ruby ship locates Steven and the Crystal Gems look like they saw a ghost as Pearl and Amethyst clutched Steven while Garnet wiped a tear as all of them got emotional about the reunion.

Steven then asks the Crystal Gems why no one has told him about Pink Diamond and Garnet said that Rose Quartz had to destroy her to save the Earth.

The last episode for "Steven Universe" will air on August 12.
