‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13 Air Date, News and Spoilers: Episode 1 ‘Undo’ Will Have Meredith vs Maggie Fight; Japril Back Together

Just a month from now and "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will air and fans can't wait. Major spoilers also came directly from executive producer Debbie Allen indicating a really good season for "Grey's Anatomy" fans.

To start with the excitement, Debbie Allen, who is the director, producer and who also plays Catherine Jackson on "Grey's Anatomy, took to Twitter to post the upcoming first episode of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. While it is expected that Sara Ramirez who plays Callie Torrez is not returning this Season 13 but all in all, most of the cast will come back.

According to Debbie Allen, the upcoming "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 episode 1 will be titled "Undo." Speculation that the upcoming first episode will be an introduction to how things ended in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 finale.

Since Jackson and April now have their daughter, it is possible that the title "Undo" will also be connected to them as they undo their divorce and probably become a family again. According to Sarah Drew who plays April Kepner that the arrival of their new child on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 finale is like a beacon of hope for the couple. "I always, always, always hold out hope for Japril," Drew said.

A possible scenario that could also take place during the first episode of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 is for Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary) and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) to have a confrontation regarding Nathan Riggs, which could also in a way be "undoing" their relationship as half-sisters.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will just be a continuation of Season 12 and will just pick up where the series left. Caterina Scorsone who plays Amelia Shepherd said that the upcoming "Grey's Anatomy will deal with her and Owen's rapid decision to get married. Amelia will not be pregnant although Caterina is.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will premiere on September 22, Thursday at 8 PM on ABC.
