Pokémon Go Latest Tips, Cheats & Hack: How Not To Get Caught And Be Banned Permanently

There are all sorts of hacks and cheats that could help gamers in playing the Pokémon Go, some with the use of GPS spoofing, bots and emulators. While there are players who want to make their game a lot easier by cheating, Niantic is obviously not happy. With that Niantic is moving from temporary terminating to permanently banning an account caught cheating. Can you keep yourself from being caught?

The developer wrote in the game's FAQ section: "Your account was permanently terminated for violations of the Pokémon GO Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to: falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third party software."

"Our goal is to provide a fair, fun and legitimate game experience for everyone. We will continue to work with all of you to improve the quality of the gameplay, including ongoing optimization and fine tuning of our anti-cheat system," Niantic added. If the player's account has been terminated incorrectly, an appeal to lift the termination can be filed.

It is not the clear how Niantic is going to catch cheaters who are using GPS spoofing, bots and emulators. But in some community discussions, players are advised not to use third-party application programming interfaces (APIs). According to The Verge, many makers of Pokémon Go APIs have received a cease and desist letter from The Pokémon Company, as part of the company's effort against cheaters.

Aside from keeping away from third-party APIs, BGR has some tips for iPhone users who still want to do some hacks but don't want to get caught. This involves jailbreaking your iPhone and reinstalling a new Pokémon Go tweak. You will be able to change your location settings and walk, run, or drive on the map without actually leaving your house. There's also a save location feature that would prevent Niantic from learning that you are cheating.
