'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Latest News & Spoilers: Eren Yeager Holds The Coordinate; Krista Becomes A Titan, Political Plot Still In Play

"Attack on Titans" Season 2 fans will be delighted to know the recent development of the upcoming "AoT." The upcoming season is reported to continue the mystery revolving the Titan found inside the wall and the power of the Reiss family.

The upcoming "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will revolve around the mysteries Reiss family and how Eren is possible to become King. As most would not know, the Reiss family is the true ruler of the walls.

To maintain their power, the Reiss family would have a special ritual for each generation wherein the predecessor would be chained hand and foot underneath the Reiss chapel in the 
"AoT" story. The successor would then inject himself with a serum to transform himself in becoming a Titan and devour the predecessor who holds the Coordinate.

Whoever holds the Coordinate is the true King or Queen of mankind. This ritual of devouring the predecessor in "Attack on Titan" has been passed on for 100 years until the Reiss family was attacked by a Titan Shifter, Grisha Yeager. He was able to eliminate most of the Reiss family except for Historia Reiss and Rod Reiss.

In the upcoming "Attack on Titan" Season 2, rumors are circulating that the story will revolve around Krista, and her possible rise to power as she is also Historia Reiss, Attack on Titan Wiki reported. There will also be a possibility that Eren will be in a tight spot and may be eaten by Krista to get the power of the Coordinate.

If "Attack on Titan" Season 2 would follow the story of the Reiss family, Rod Reiss will pressure Krista to inject herself with the serum followed by eating Eren in the process. However, Krista will also not allow this to happen and instead Rod injects himself with the serum and becomes the largest titan of them all, a 120 meter Abnormal Titan.

Hajime Isayama has not released its official air date for "Attack on Titan" Season 2 yet. However, reports are indicating that the second season for "AoT" Season 2 will fall on 2017.
