In a Reddit forum, a "Pokemon GO" player claimed that closing and restarting the app will help improve battle quality. "Until recently I didn't even know that the camera panned with the pokemon after dodging an attack," user koala_rage commented. "My pokemon would just disappear to the edge of the screen. Now I am able to land 4 water gun attacks and successfully dodge the incoming quick attack."

Other players seemed to agree with his strategy. Other "Pokemon GO" fans claimed that doing it tends to make their phones lag less.

Another "Pokemon GO" cheat/tip/trick shared in a separate Reddit forum suggested that setting your phone time to automatic can help Pokemons spawn, and help nearby lists update properly. "I realized when playing Pokemon GO that if the time on my phone is off by few minutes then the Pokemons don't show up and the nearby list stops updating eventually," user anoman00 shared.

It was previously reported that "Pokemon GO" players can use an incense to spawn rare Pokemons and level-up faster. The fan who shared his observation claimed that he caught a Blastoise, Primeape, Dugtrio, Magmar and Bulbasaur using the said strategy.
