UFC 202 Goes Viral, McGregor and Diaz get Own Twitter Hashtag Emojis

Days leading up to one of the biggest fights in mixed martial arts in UFC 202 of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the two fighters in the main event, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz are making waves in the media as both have undeniable personalities and are masters of trash talk. With all of the hype surrounding Diaz and McGregor, they are now getting their very own personalized hashtag emoji on Twitter.

After the events of UFC 196, when lightweight Nate Diaz took on reigning featherweight champion "The Notorious" Conor McGregor, and shook the world as Diaz submitted the Irishman in the second round. Since suffering the devastating loss, McGregor has been hard at work preparing for the rematch, up to the point where the UFC champion would not attend press conferences to focus on his training.

As fight day draws nearer, things get even more heated between the Diaz and McGregor. As they stir up more buzz on the internet, Twitter has now made customized hashtag emojis for both fighters. By using either #NateDiaz or #ConorMcGregor on Twitter, a custom emoji for each fighter will appear beside it, according to BJPenn.com

The hashtag emoji was first revealed when a tweet from the UFC's official Twitter page featured both fighter's hashtags. Fans can now show support by simply tweeting the hashtag and the custom emojis will now appear.

McGregor recently rented out a warehouse which he converted into his own private training space in preparation for the fight, fully equipped with a standard UFC Octagon. According to SB Nation, the new gym helps him train closer to home in Las Vegas where the Irish is now currently based.

UFC 202 will be live on August 20 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with Diaz and McGregor in the main event.
