NBA News: 'Ray Allen' Confirmed An NBA Comeback; Knicks To Sign Ray Allen?

Ray Allen's NBA comeback news has been spreading all over the world, and many teams are linked to him. The latest team that is rumored to be Ray Allen's possible landing spot is the New York Knicks.

In an interview made by Courant, Ray Allen said that he is really serious with the idea of making an NBA comeback. Ray Allen can be a lot of help for the Knicks if he will be recruited considering he might be teaming up with his Co-All-Star teammates Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose.

Foxsports has mentioned that Spike Lee, the director of Ray Allen's 90's film He Got Game is actively recruiting Ray Allen to play with the New York Knicks. Lee is known to be a close friend of Allen, this can create a bigger chance that the Knicks might acquire the veteran shooter.

Ray Allen is on his 40's might be the oldest player to play in the NBA, and would join Kevin Garnett as the only active player from the 90's era. Ray Allen is the current NBA record holder for most 3-points made in both the regular season and the playoffs. A very dangerous outside shooter, Ray Allen has been a threat during his prime and even up to the last few seasons of his NBA career.

As a premier outside shooter, Allen can stretch the floor at the offensive end. He also proves that he can still contribute even coming off the bench just like he did it in his last season with the Miami Heat.

In addition, aside from the Knicks, some press release mentioned Allen might come back to play with either of his previous teams, the Boston Celtics or the Milwaukee Bucks. Since no confirmation yet on where Allen could land for an NBA comeback, other teams are still welcome to offer Ray Allen a better contract.
