‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 Hints ‘Flash’ Crossover With Latest Guest Spot Announcement From Mayim Bialik

Leonard, Sheldon, and the whole crew might be meeting the fastest man alive soon. The 10^th season of "The Big Bang Theory" will likely feature a "Flash" crossover judging by a recent guest spot announcement from Mayim Bialik, who plays Amy on CBS' hit comedy series.

Brandon Jones, who has a recurring part on "Pretty Little Liars" as Andrew, has secured a guest spot on "The Big Bang Theory" in what seems to a be a superhero role. In her tweet, Bialik thanked Jones for his "flash'y" guest appearance and described the actor as "sweet," "southern," and "comfortable in latex" in an Instagram post on the same day.

Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" know that this isn't the first time that the Scarlet Speedster graced the show. In Season 1, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Howard (Simon Helberg), and Raj (Kunnal Nayyar) all dressed up as the Flash in the Halloween episode, according to TVLine.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 would also feature other guest stars aside from Jones. Keith Carradine, Katey Sagal, and Jack McBrayer would play as Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) father, mother, and brother, respectively. Dean Norris will also guest star as an Air Force representative who wants to use the pals' quantum gyroscope for military applications.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will tackle how Penny feels unhappy with her career even though she's making lots of money from it. She made a B-movie titled "Serial Apist" with Will Wheaton and it has gained plenty of fans. Showrunner Steve Molaro said Penny is "figuring things out" in Season 10 and she will "weigh her options" regarding her burgeoning career, Variety reported.

"The Big Bang Theory" couples would see more relationship developments in Season 10, The Cheat Sheet reported. Molaro said viewers can expect more milestones for both Sheldon and Amy, who finally had sex in Season 9, and Howard and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), who will engage in baby planning mode in the upcoming episodes.

Season 10 would also address what exactly occurred between Leonard's dad Alfred (Judd Hirsch) and Sheldon's mother Mary (Laurie Metcalf), who bonded over their shared dislike over Leonard's mom and Alfred's ex-wife Beverly (Christine Baranski). Fans assumed that the duo hooked up when Season 9 wrapped up with both Alfred and Mary missing in action in the morning.

There will be no time jump between Season 9 and 10 and the upcoming season will pick up right after the cliffhanger. "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 would premiere on Sept. 19 at 8 PM ET on CBS.
