'Batman: Arkham VR' Release Date, News & Updates: Become Batman Virtually, But No Fight Scene And Batmobile?

The new "Batman: Arkham VR" is about to release and as far as Rocksteady says, it would be the the frist step as they bring the Batman franchise to Plastation VR. The "Batman: Arkham VR" was tested in Gamescom 2016 a week ago and it seems players were impressed with game's VR enivronment but not on the game iteself.

"Batman: Arkham VR" is set to launch this October along with the Playstation VR. This could be a huge transition of an RPG game to a whole new level of gaming.

In the upcoming "Batman: Arkham VR," players will virtually put on Batman's cowl and experience how to become Batman virtually. This provides Batman fans the much awaited day to become their favorite superhero.

In a trailer released at the Gamescom, players starts at wearing the Batman suit along with the Batman Cowl and some tools to put onto the belt such as the Batarang and the forensic scanner. After that killer introduction, as per The Sixth Axis, players start to move outside the Arkham City and basically start to play as Batman.

But it seems that the new "Batman: Arkham VR" is not impressive. A gameplay breakdown was posted by a gamer in YouTube and it seems he has a point. When we say Batman, it means gliding and fistfights. In "Batman: Arkham VR" you cannot actually do what the real Batman does, no grapple gun, useless Batarangs and imagine being Batman that you can't even drive the Bat Mobile.

The "Batman: Arkham VR" is just simply a detective game and runs for an hour. The "Batman: Arkham VR" seems to be good, but the thing is that Rocksteady should put on the title the word Detective.

Overall, Rocksteady should stick to the traditional Batman RPG style rather than bringing Batman to VR. In "Batman: Arkham VR," it is more like of playing as Bruce Wayne than playing as Batman himself, making the title very unimpressive gameplay though the game's presentation is excellent.

The "Batman: Arkham VR" is set to launch this October and Pre-Order is already available for those who want to try this game. On the other hand, Playstation VR will be released this coming 13th of October.
