‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6: Emma Back To How It Was In Season 1, To Play Savior Again?

"Once Upon A Time" is set to return next month, but what can fans expect in Season 6? Spoilers tease that it's going to be a back to basics for Emma Swan, the Savior who rides in her yellow beetle.

After having a taste of the darkness in the previous season, "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 will bring back Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) to how it was in Season 1, when she was the Savior, helping people find their happiness. According to TVLine, Emma will help those who were from the Land of Untold Stories that Mr. Hyde brought to Storybrooke when he took over the place.

The Untold Story "is a story that has yet to play out," OUAT co-creator Eddy Kitsis explained to the publication. "You're going to see that a lot of people went to the Land of Untold Stories because they wanted to literally push 'pause,' like they were watching their own life on TiVo."

Co-creator Adam Horowitz further explained that this season would show what would happen to the stories if they did not end the way we thought they did. They stop at midstream for some reasons that the characters wanted to just pause their story at the point. And now that Mr. Hyde has removed them from the Land of Untold Stories and placed them in Storybrooke, the play button will be turned on.

Moreover, Emma will also face the realization that there were Saviors before her. Zap2it revealed that Aladdin, the street rat of Agrabah, was the Savior before Emma. "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 spoilers also tease that Dr. Hopper is back, played by Raphael Sbarge, and his patient is probably going to be Emma. The Evil Queen is also returning to wreak havoc, as if Mr. Hyde is not enough. Will Emma and Regina be able to defeat her? Or will she try to turn Henry to the dark side?

"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 is scheduled to premiere on Sept. 25.
