‘Pokémon GO’ Tips & Tricks: How To Get Over 100,000 XP From Lucky Eggs By Evolving Pokémon

Experience points have great significance in "Pokémon GO." Gaining enough XP in the game will put players in higher levels, which will then help them catch stronger Pokémon. There are items in the game that help players gain lots of XP, and among them are Lucky Eggs.

Lucky Eggs are consumable items that can be purchased in the "Pokémon GO" Shop using PokéCoins, according to IGN. Using Lucky Eggs will make players earn twice the XP amount of all actions executed by a trainer for 30 minutes.

"Pokémon GO" players can maximize the Lucky Eggs' effects by using it along with Incense and Lure Modules. They should also remember to stock up plenty of Poké Balls, which can be obtained via Poké Stops or through the Shop.

One of the most fruitful purposes of a Lucky Egg is when it is used to evolve Pokémon. Evolving the creatures already gives players high XPs in "Pokémon GO" and using a Lucky Egg on evolutions will boost your gathered XP by 1,000 for each Pokémon. Catching a Pokémon, meanwhile, will gain you 200 XP, but that surges to 1,200 XP when a Lucky Egg is used.

Folks from Reddit's The Silph Road thread shared how "Pokémon GO" players can get more than 100,000 XP from using one Lucky Egg in evolutions. First and foremost, players should sort the Pokémon they want to evolve by labeling them as "Favorite." It's important that players have good Wi-Fi and/or GPS connection during this process.

Afterwards, users should lay down the Lucky Egg and evolve the Pokémon of their choosing. After this step, players must immediately "Force Quit" or "Force Close" the "Pokémon GO" app and re-open it just as quickly. Repeat the same steps for the other Pokémon you want to evolve.

The "Force Quit" trick essentially reduces players' time waiting for the Pokémon's evolution process in "Pokémon GO." Some players claimed that they were able to evolve four to five Pokémon in just one minute after using the trick, as long as there are no internet connection issues.

Using a newer smartphone is also an advantage when doing this trick because closing and re-loading the game would be faster. Doing the "Force Quit" trick can give "Pokémon GO" players up to 145,000 to 150,000 XP on a single Lucky Egg.
