‘South Park’ Season 20 Air Date, Spoilers, Latest News Updates: Upcoming Season To Feature Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton Again? Creators Saying No?

There is just a week left before the highly anticipated television comeback of "South Park" season 20. As a matter of fact, avid fans of the hit Comedy Central adult-animated series are already excited on what the upcoming season has to offer.

Since the United States is currently dealing with the conjunctures of the 2016 U.S. Presidential campaign, some hinted that presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could make an appearance in "South Park" season 20. Although the series has been known for its political satires, Cinema Blend revealed creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker may not be concentrating more on the topic of the election season.

One thing is for sure though that Garrison will remain as "South Park" season 20 presidential nominee. At the Paley Fest panel in Beverly Hills on Sept. 1, Parker admitted that they didn't really want to feature Trump as a character.

Stone also explained that "South Park" season 20 will address the upcoming election but stressed that it won't be taking over the upcoming season. Stone also admitted that it was quite challenging to come up with new ideas for the new season of the series, which has been running over the span of two decades, Variety noted.

Moreover, "South Park" season 20 will also get a major structural change, which will follow story arcs through the entire season rather than a reset for each season. The said shift reportedly started in the "South Park" realm last season.

As the season premiere for "South Park" season 20 looms, Comedy Central has recently released a new promotional clip showing the gory fights, the violent deaths of Kenny, Stan vomits, the gay fish that was swimming around with Kanye West and of course, Cartman dumps. According to Maxim, the new video was totally "gross."

Meanwhile, "South Park" season 20 creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have some interesting political views. Even though they have been both dubbed as "libertarian" over the years, Parker said that he's supporting Gary Johnson rather than Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, who he jokingly called as "giant douche" and the "turd sandwich," as per Daily Beast.

Speaking of the 2016 U.S. Presidential elections, "South Park" season 20 creators reportedly don't care who will be America's next president. The reason? Both Parker and Stone said that whoever wins the elections will be "great for comedy," New York Daily News learned.

Are you excited for the new episodes of "South Park" season 20? Tune in on Comedy Central at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
