NBA Trade Rumors: Celtics Wants Paul George? Sorry Indiana Pacers Is NOT Trading George Unless It's For Kevin Durant!

Paul George's name is joining the NBA trade rumor mills this offseason. According to reports, a number of teams in the NBA league are competing to trade for George. Unfortunately, some sources claim that it is unlikely for Indiana Pacers to put Paul George on the trading block unless it is for Kevin Durant.

Parent Herald previously reported that both Los Angeles Lakers and OKC Thunder are interested in acquiring Paul George. In fact, the teams are offering their key players just to acquire the Indiana Pacers' small forward.

Lakers offer D'Angelo Russell or Brandon Ingram for Paul George. Meanwhile, Thunder is willing to part ways with Andre Roberson and Enes Kanter for George.

Aside from the said teams, Metro reported that Boston Celtics also wants Paul George. The team has shown an interest for the basketball superstar for quite a while now. In fact, the team is willing to swap some of their picks this offseason just to acquire Paul George.

Unfortunately, although the offers might appear interesting, Indiana Pacers is in no way parting ways with Paul George unless they offered Kevin Durant. Yes, Pacers is wise enough to hold George unless they receive a player that is so much better than their small forward.

According to Steve Kyler, Indiana Pacers just laughed off about the rumors that they are trading Paul George. Clearly, Pacers are not considering a trade involving George and Kyler added that unless it gives them the seven-time NBA All-Star and Olympian gold medalist Kevin Durant.

At the time Kevin Durant is with the Warriors and many are hoping that his chemistry with Stephen Curry will not work so the pair will part ways in the next NBA season. A number of teams are also showing interest in Curry.

There is no doubt that if Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry work together well, the Golden State Warriors is close to their next NBA title. Many contenders in the NBA league are trembling with this thought that's why they want the two men apart.
