'The Last of Us 2' Confirmed to Have Ellie Back? Voice Actress Speaks Up!

 It has been years, but fans are still left wondering whether a "The Last of Us 2" release date will soon be announced. Naughty Dog has repeatedly stressed that developing the game is not yet in their cards, but the demand for a sequel is so high. Could Neil Druckmann and his team finally give in to the franchise's fans?

However, people who were part of the first game have already expressed their interest in making the follow-up title. As Gamespot recently reported, the talent who lent her voice to Ellie has been very open to say that she is very much interested in doing the sequel should it be green lit.

Ashley Johnson claimed that she would be totally on board "The Last of Us 2," should developers decide to have a new plot for Ellie and Joel. She shared that she thinks the first game could actually be a stand alone game, but she wouldn't miss an opportunity if she will be offered to voice Ellie once again.

While fans continue to wait for more "The Last of Us 2" release date updates, many are excited to get their hands on "The Last of Us Remastered." The title will reportedly run on native 4K on the recently announced PS4 Pro, PlayStation Lifestyle reported. The game will have an improved 60 fps mode on Sony's upgraded console.

Meanwhile, fans are also excited to know more about the rumored "The Last of Us" movie. Previous reports have claimed that the "TLoU" movie could come first before the highly anticipated "The Last of Us 2" release date.
