NBA Trade Rumors: Kevin Garnett Returns; Leaving Minnesota Timberwolves? Will Play For LA Clippers?

According to NBA rumors, Minnesota Timberwolves is still waiting to hear from Kevin Garnett if he will be playing this season. However, some sources claim that he is but will be joining another team in the NBA league.

Per NBC Sports, Kevin Garnett has a $8 million deal with Minnesota Timberwolves for next season. The player has been battling injuries for years and could spend a little time on the court. At the time, Timberwolves are unsure if the power forward and center player will return in the upcoming NBA season.

While Minnesota is still unsettled about Kevin Garnett's return, the head coach of Los Angeles Clippers has something else to say. Doc Rivers is reportedly confident that Garnett will return for the 22nd NBA season.

With Doc Rivers coming into the picture, there are rumors that Kevin Garnett could be joining the LA Clippers in the forthcoming NBA season. Per GameNGuide, Kevin Garnett might not have lots of minutes if he stays with Minnesota Timberwolves because the team concentrates on the younger roster Karl-Anthony Towns Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine and Kris Dunn. However, he could ask for a trade.

Another veteran, Ray Allen is set to return to the NBA league and Garnett could join the three-point champion and Paul Pierce in Clippers. Reports have it that Allen and Pierce will team up again in Clippers and Garnett will be a great addition to the tandem.

However, if Kevin Garnett is considering a retirement, then the best place to do it is with his current team, Minnesota Timberwolves. Garnett rose to fame while playing for the T-wolves, so it is just proper to end his NBA career with the same team.

Also, Kevin Garnett and Karl-Anthony Towns have a great tandem. Garnet is Town's mentor and they have a special bond which they could continue in the new NBA season. Do you think this is possible? Is Garnett staying with the T-wolves? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
