'Scream Queens' Season 2 Latest News, Update & Spoilers: Kirstie Alley is a New Regular of the Show

Just 10 days before "Scream Queens" Season 2 returns, fans are now gushing over the new casts of the show as seen on the latest season trailer. One to be added as a regular is Kirstie Alley, whose character will join Chanel O'Berlin and the sisters in a hospital in the hit series "Scream Queens."

The 65-year-old actress will "play a brilliant and devious administrator" of the new setting of the "Scream Queens" Season 2, a hospital, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The season 1 was set in the Wallace University school campus and the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority house.

The hospital called the C.U.R.E. Institute, houses some of the most bizarre and strange cases. Shown in one of the trailers of the second season of the show were prominent faces which made fans guess the second season of "Scream Queens" would be a blast.

Kirstie Alley is an award-winning actress. Her recent guest appearance was in Netflix's "Flaked." The "Look Who's Talking" actress won an Emmy and Golden Globes for her movie "Cheers." This is a comeback for Alley whose last work was in 2013 for her sitcom "Kirstie."

Ryan Murphy's "Scream Queens" is a comedy thriller series and the second season will air on Sept. 20 on Fox. The series stars returning cast members Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lea Michele among others.

"Scream Queens" Season 2 will be joined by new regulars Taylor Lautner, James Earl and John Stamos. John Stamos will be playing as Dr. Brock Holt while Taylor Lautner will play as Cassidy Cascade.

The "Scream Queens" Season 1 ended with the some of the Kappa sisters in a mental asylum while Hester (Lea Michele) got away with murder. "Scream Queens" Season 2 also revealed that Hester is the twin of Boone (Nick Jonas). The mysterious baby in the bathtub was also revealed: Hester.
