Apple iOS 10 Pros And Cons, Should You Update Or Not? New Emojis, Ability To Delete Default Apps

The Apple users are divided when it comes to downloading the latest iOS 10 are some say there are great features such as new emojis and the ability to delete the default apps while others are complaining that their phone became unresponsive after updating.

According to CBS News, the iOS 10 looks a whole lot like its previous version, the iOS 9 but there are so many features that are different from the previous operating system. The iOS 10 is only compatible with the iPhones starting from the iPhone 5 flagship, the latest versions of iPads and iPods.

As per the latest reports, the best new features that iPhone users could enjoy the iOS 10 operating system are the new emojis, and upgrades regarding messaging, Siri, and maps. For the upgrades in Messages, users can now text in their own handwriting by writing on their screen. They can also draw or write on top of videos, send stickers and animations, and swap out the words with the possible emoji best used to describe it. It is very much like the Facebook Messenger.

Also, invisible ink, which lets users send secret messages to each other, is one of the features gaining attraction as well as the new sassy boy emojis. However, not all the emojis are accepted positively. For one, the gun emoji was replaced by a water gun emoji making most of the users complain about it on social media.

The overhaul for Siri in the iOS 10 includes the personal assistant system being integrated in the apps that users use. In the iOS 10, users could book a ride or send money using Siri. The Maps also had an upgrade as Apple has made it more useful since it would now be able to suggest where one could pass through if there is bad traffic. Users could also use Maps for reservations in restaurants and booking rides.

Another feature for the iOS 10 update is that users will be allowed to remove the default apps that are already there when the phone was purchased. Some of these apps are the Stocks or the Watch, Daily Mail reported. Some Apple users took to Twitter to say that they are happy about being able to delete some of the default apps.

It is advised that Apple users should "clean" their phones such as delete unwanted apps, photos, videos and backing up what they want to keep before proceeding with the iOS 10 update. It is also recommended that Apple users should update their iTunes to the newest version and update the iPhone via plugging it into a computer.
