Sony Unveils New 4K Blu-ray Discs; Specs And What To Expect In The Product

Sony has a new project called the 4k Blu-ray disc and its video resolution is just as they promised. The company announced it on September 14, but there are both advantages and disadvantages that prospective consumers should know before availing it.

According to CNET, this new release of Sony is in a way competing with Microsoft's project that allows 4K Blu-ray discs to work with their Xbox One S. The one with Sony is called the UBP-X 1000ES and it is suppose to work with Sony's PS4. There is one negative side of this project and it is the fact that you can only really avail it if you have your installers customized.

The design and its function are completely flawless. You are able to watch DVDs and stream videos from online in high-res format amounting to 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, hence it is called the 4K Blu-ray disc.
