Apple News & Updates: Apple Buying McLaren?

News about Apple acquiring the car company McLaren is making rounds since September 23. McLaren, who is known for their race cars said these reports are not true, but still lots of publications are saying it is not impossible for Apple to buy them.

According to The Verge, should this deal with Apple and McLaren ever happen, chances are Apple would be able to have access to the car company's control systems. That's not all because they could even takeover in creating driver trains for McLaren. The famous car maker would be the perfect new acquisition for Apple since its sales went over to 1,654 units in 2015 alone. McLaren is known for their Formula One race cars and car enthusiasts would be happy to imagine that Apple would be a part of the advancement of its technology.

The consulting department of McLaren is slowly progressing, which is why it would even make so much sense that Apple would put in some of their best people on board. This car company is independent, which would make it very likely to be acquired by Apple. Tech Crunch also featured this possibility of Apple buying McLaren. The latter having a good reputation with their products is one of the reasons that Apple has an eye on it. Aside from that, there are also reports saying Apple is about to develop its own car.

McLaren already made their statement about these reports saying there is no on-going deal between them and Apple. At least for now, they don't have it, but who knows in the future.
