NBA Trade Rumors: Paul Millsap To Join Cleveland Cavaliers; Kevin Love Joins Russell Westbrook In OKC Thunder?

Cleveland Cavaliers' point guard Kevin Love is becoming a regular in the NBA trade rumor mills. According to reports, Love could be heading to OKC Thunder to join Russell Westbrook. Meanwhile, Atlanta Hawk's Paul Millsap is reportedly joining the NBA contender Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to Christian Post, a trade sending Paul Millsap to Cleveland Cavaliers is possible. The said trade would involve four more players aside from Millsap, which includes Kevin Love, Ersan Ilyasova, Domantas Sabonis and Kyle Singler.

It is known that Cleveland Cavaliers is still working on upgrading their roster. The team won the championship against Golden State Warriors last season but it was not an easy win. If Cavs wants a back-to-back NBA title they need to improve their lineup, especially that Kevin Durant is with the Warriors.

Reports have it that by adding Paul Millsap, Cleveland Cavaliers will have higher chances of beating GSW. Millsap is more athletic and defensive-minded in the basketball court.

The trade involving Kevin Love should still be taken with a grain of salt. Cleveland Cavaliers stated earlier that they will not trade Love. However, Kevin Love remains in the trade rumor mills.

In fact, there are reports claiming that Cavs are trading Kevin Love for Philadelphia 76ers' Nerlens Noel or New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony. Some fans suggest that Cleveland Cavaliers is not broken and doesn't need fixing. The team also announced that they wish to keep the same roster in the upcoming NBA season but Love is still one of the favorites in the NBA trade rumors.

Meanwhile, some NBA enthusiasts believe that if Kevin Love would be moved to OKC Thunder to join Russell Westbrook, it would do good for all. Per Kings James Gospel, Westbrook and Love's tandem is a dream scenario for all.

Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook share a very close bond in their college years. In fact, in Love's write up for The Players Tribune, one could follow how the brotherly bond developed from a casual meeting on campus to being roommates and to talking about making it into NBA.

Do you agree that Kevin Love is Russell Westbrook's best teammate in the basketball court? Do you agree that Paul Millsap is better in Cleveland Cavaliers than Love? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
