'Thor 3 Ragnarok' Director Confirms Cameo; Netflix Series Underway After Third Movie?

"Thor 3 Ragnarok" won't hit theaters until next year. The highly anticipated third installment has had moviegoers and fans talking online, with many speculating what the new movie will offer.

Previous reports have confirmed that "Thor 3 Ragnarok" as the title suggests will be based on the comic book's Ragnarok storyline that will feature Asgard's impending doom. While not a lot has been disclosed about director Taika Waititi's plans for the MCU phase 3 flick, new characters that will join the god of thunder in the upcoming movie have already been confirmed.

It was previously revealed that Mark Ruffalo's The Hulk will be Thor's "cosmic buddy" in "Thor 3 Ragnarok." New characters played by Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neil have also been confirmed. On the other hand, some of the returning cast members include Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin and Idris Elba as Heimdall.

Now, new reports are suggesting that fans could get a highly anticipated cameo from a well-liked character. In Marvel's Comic Con sneak peek of "Thor 3 Ragnarok," it has been revealed that Thor went to Australia after the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" where he stayed in an apartment with a room mate named Darryl Jacobson.

There has been a clamor for Darryl's return in "Thor 3 Ragnarok," and just recently, Waititi somehow confirmed that a cameo for Thor's room mate could be arranged in the upcoming movie. According to Movieweb, the director teased that fans could probably see him again in the third installment.

Apart from Darryl's rumored cameo in "Thor 3 Ragnarok," there has been a demand for Marvel to make a series that will star Thor and Darryl. Rumors claimed that Netflix could actually partner with the project.
