NBA News: Kevin Garnett To Choose Between The Cavaliers And The Clippers For Coaching Job; KG Held A Practice With Blake Griffin

After his retirement that was announced last Friday, September 23, Kevin Garnett seemed to be undone with the NBA. Cleveland Cavaliers Head Coach Tyronn Lue invited Kevin Garnett to join him to coach the Cavs.

Kevin Garnett received a lot of offer from several clubs, not for a playing spot but for as Coaching Staff. Doc Rivers mentioned in a report held by the Bleacher Report that he wants to bring Kevin Garnett to the Clippers. What is more interesting is that the Cavaliers' offer for Garnett to join their coaching staff.

Kevin Garnett is a close friend of the Cleveland Cavaliers Head Coach Tyronn Lue. Remember the days when KG was with the Boston Celtics, Lue was an assistant to Doc Rivers that made them close to each other.

According to the report of ESPN, Tyronn Lue didn't expect of Garnett's decision to retire, citing that he wants to see Garnett playing in his 20's, 30's and even at 40's. But as Lue said, he respects Kevin Garnett's decision as he offers Garnett a coaching job.

Tyronn Lue told the ESPN that he already talked to Kevin Garnett about the coaching job offer, it seemed that Kevin Garnett is in a back and forth to agree for a while. Lue even cited the Garnett's wife Brandi, was so excited and she also pushing KG to take the job with the Cavaliers.

Kevin Garnett could a great help for the Cavaliers, mentoring, sharing tips and his knowledge, especially when it comes to defense, we mean hard defense. KG is a winner, and so as the Cleveland Cavalier, with the LeBron James, who became his teammate in the All-Star game for 3 years, it would be easy for them to tag along.

In a recent report by the CBS Sports, Kevin Garnett attended the Los Angeles Clippers' practice and gave some tips to Blake Griffin. A video was posted on Twitter where Blake Griffin is having a low-post lesson from Kevin Garnett. Would this be a sign that KG would become a part of the Clippers' coaching staff?
