‘Arrow’ Season 5 Latest Spoilers: Diggle Is Out On A Mission, David Ramsey Confirms; Is He Not Coming Back?

"Arrow" Season 5 is just a few days away but fans are just excited to know what awaits the life of Oliver Queen and his team in the new season. However, it seems that fans of John Diggle will not see him for the first few episodes according to "Arrow" Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim. Additionally, Thea Queen fans may not be happy to know that she left the group as revealed in the recent "Arrow" featurette released by CW Television Network.

CW just released a video wherein David Ramsey, the actor who plays that character of Diggle, revealed that Diggle is working on a mission while Thea left the "Arrow" team, ComicBook reported. Furthermore, in an interview with "Arrow's" EP Guggenheim, he already revealed that Diggle is in search of a moral compass he misplaced from the finale of "Arrow" Season 4.

"He discovers that Chechnya is the wrong place for him to discover his moral compass. Things do not go according to plan for him, and there's something that happens in the first three episodes that is fairly significant and it's the circumstances that will ultimately bring him back to Star City, but he's not going to be the same," Entertainment Weekly reported. That being said, fans may need to prepare to see a different version of their favorite character Diggle as "Arrow" Season 5 returns.

Meanwhile, reports claimed that "Arrow" Season 5 will pick up five months after the events of the previous season. While Felicity Smoak has already moved on from the tragedy of "Arrow" Season 4, Oliver is apparently still in denial. However, when a new villain shows up in Star City again, Oliver will be obliged to look for new recruits to help them build a new team of heroes.

"Arrow" Season 5 is slated to air on Wednesday, Oct. 5 on CW. The premiere episode is titled "Legacy"
