Playstation VR Review: What Makes The New Gen Console Better Than Its Competition?

The Playstation VR will make it's anticipated debut on October 13 of this year, and along with it, the future of gaming. The Playstation's virtual reality headset, paired with the new generation console, introduces an all new experience for gamers everywhere.

It won't be soon before regular console gaming will become a thing of the past, as the first real wave of virtual gaming is coming, as the new Playstation VR from Sony will be making it's debut in about a week. The new virtual reality headset will bring players one step closer to actually being in the game itself, changing how we see gaming forever.

While other brands already have released their own line of virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive, not too many people have the computer to run them, but with the Playstation VR, virtual reality will be made available for the masses, according to the Independent.

The anticipation of the Playstation VR is also matched with the hype surrounding the upcoming the games that come along with it. Some notable titles set to be released on the day of the Playstation VR's launching include "EVE: Valkyrie," "Batman: Arkham VR," and "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood," among others, while some anticipated titles for the VR that will come in 2017 are "Resident Evil 7" and "Golem," according to a report from VG 24/7, with the full list of VR games available on their site.

The Playstation VR will indeed come with a bit of a steep price tag, being a Playstation accessory, as it comes at around $450, right around the same amount of a new Playstation 4 console, but it is relatively cheaper compared to the other virtual reality products, such as the HTC Vive which almost costs twice the Playstation VR.
