NBA Trade News: The Bucks and Lakers Are Currently In Trade Talks; Michael Carter-Williams In Exchange For Lou Williams

Michael Carter-Williams is now confirmed in the NBA trade block as the Milwaukee Bucks ready to let go of him like Greg Monroe. Though unexpected, it turns out that the Bucks management along with Head Coach Jason Kidd planned to send him out since the NBA off-season starts.

Michael Carter-Williams obviously will join Greg Monroe in the NBA trade block of the Milwaukee Bucks. It's no secret that the Bucks are serious to rebuild their roster the way they want it.

Michael Carter-Williams was already being offered to the Sacramento Kings as the Real GM reported. After a few hours of negotiation, the phone call between the Bucks and the Kings ended up with no deal. The Bucks offered Carter-Williams to the Kings in exchange for Ben McClemore, but things didn't go to the Bucks' interest.

The Inquisitor reported recently that the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers are about to start a trade deal. Sending Carter-Williams to the Lakers while receiving Lou Williams to a second round pick. The Lakers are reportedly interested in acquiring Carter-Williams due to floor leadership and defensive prowess.

Michael Carter-Williams or simply MCW is a great on-ball defender. With his 1.5 steals per game, it shows how he can cover the passing lane while staying on-foot to his designated man. On offense, MCW is a great passer with an average of 5.6 assists per game, a floor general with a good court vision and passing perception.

MCW can also penetrate the driving lane and can move to rim without a total distraction due to his length. The only thing that the Lakers would consider is his shooting, MCW had troubles converting his shots from 18 feet up to the 3-point area.

Overall, Michael Carter-Williams could a very good addition to the Lakers young core players. While on the Milwaukee Bucks court, Lou Williams should be the man that they need as they are in search of scoring option in the shooting guard position.
