'Overwatch' Characters, Latest News & Updates: Blizzard Reveals New Heroes?

Blizzard's multi-player, first-person shooter video game "Overwatch" is likely to see two new characters in the next game. As an early Halloween treat, a leak of the new character of the game known as 'Sombra' is doing the rounds on Imgur, Gyazo, DeviantArt and elsewhere, as reported by Polygon. The origin of the leak is, however, unknown.

The image comes across as a partial description of the character 'Sombra'. Her appearance resembles that of a Latina woman with a wild hairstyle, a purple trench coat along with special gloves and armed with a submachine gun. A caption below the image touts her to be one of the world's best and most notorious hackers.

According to reports by Yibada,Blizzard Entertainment has stated that game developer, Jeff Kaplan and his team are working on two new characters and one of them will be out very soon. The new character is currently under testing.

Rumours suggest that the mysterious stealth hero 'Sombra' will be launched this year with Blizzard making the announcements officially on Oct 18.

Also,there are hints that a new game mode will be releasing very soon.Known as the 'Brawl' mode, this will challenge players to protect a castle from Zomnics and Dr. Junkenstein's evil allies. The new mode is also believed to have three levels of difficulty, reported Australian Network News.

Additionally, a new 'Spectator' mode will be added to "Overwatch" which will also include features such as the ability to bookmark locations and players with hotkeys and cameras at objective points.

In leiu of the Halloween season, Blizzard will be working on 100 Halloween themed items for each character of "Overwatch". This will include new skins, sprays, highlights, victory poses, player icons, voice lines and credits as well as six new maps for the game, reported Yibada.

The Halloween Terror Event in "Overwatch" will be starting this month and will go up till Nov 1.

Currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms, the new features in "Overwatch" is likely to enthral the users.
