Pokemon 2 Latest Version Release Update: New Features To Popularize The Game Again?

The "Pokemon Go" version 2 is slated for release in the coming days and there are several new features incorporated in the new version.

According to Heavy announcement by Niantic says Version 0.41.2 for iOS and 1.11.2 for Android is all set to be rolled out. The updates reveal that two main new features have been added to the game.

The first is called the 'catch bonus'. With this feature, players receive medals which are given out for catching many of the same types of Pokemon. It is said that once you catch a particular kind of Pokemon, it will be much easier to catch the same type of Pokemon in future.

The second type of feature added to the game is an alteration to gym training. As per this feature, any Pokemon one sees at a gym will be added to the Pokedex as a silhouette. Previously, one had to actually encounter a Pokemon in the wild for it to appear in the Pokedex. But now, all that the players have to do is pass by a gym with that Pokemon occupying it. In addition, gym battles would be altered to allow members of the same team to participate in strengthening the team's Pokemon Gym.

Also, reports suggest that, in order to address the complaints regarding evolution animation time, Niantic has reduced the same. This would make a difference while playing lucky egg sessions.

Despite these new changes, the new update was flouted by Forbes as-small updates intermixed with occasionally bigger updates. Reviews indicate that the game still resembles a skeletal version and has a long way to go before it reaches a finished stage. Reports predict that the updates are not very likely to keep the millions of users interested. The game that took the world by storm in July, has been declining in its popularity ever since owing to the aimless wandering that the game encourages.

Will the new update bring back the millions to try the new evolution? Will Niantic manage to please the users?
