'Westworld' Season 1 Episode 2 Recap: Hosts Finally Learning About Their True Nature?

'Westworld' Season 1 Episode 2 has added two character who have become involved with the world of the West, specifically the hosts. Two guests have arrived, William (plays by Jimmi Simpson) and Logan (Ben Barnes). Aside from the two guests, a madame host at the 'Westworld' brothel, Maeve (plays by Thandie Newton) has approached a glimpse of self-discovery.

'Westworld' Season 1 Episode 2 kickstarted with two humans who have gone on vacation at the 'Westworld', William and Logan. Logan has already experienced the theme park which is 'Westworld', so he already knows how to expand his desires by getting prostitute hosts and hurting some cowboys. Meanwhile, William's a new guest and his curiosity of this AI world puts him in an awkward start.

During the first episode of 'Westworld', Dolores (plays by Evan Rachel Wood), being the oldest host in the 'Westworld' has left the viewers something to look forward to. On the second episode, Dolores has been hearing a voice in her head, which is unusual for a robot. A voice in keeps telling Dolores to remember and after a while, she discovered a gun in her front yard, which makes a host becomes unfit at the 'Westworld'.

The second episode of 'Westworld' were not only about William, Logan and Dolores. The Man in the black who have been in 'Westworld' for 30 years has killed a lot of people again but now in a town of a man named Lawrence, as he searches for answers about the maze he found on the head of a host. On top of his search for truth about 'Westworld', it is Maeve, the madame host at a brothel at 'Westworld' who has gone further to self-discovery.

Maeve, a madame at a brothel in 'Westworld', has been experiencing visions and nightmares about a past life when she got haunted by other hosts and by the Man in the Black. Maeve woke up in the middle of sedation at the 'Westworld' Central as the scientists found MRSA in her stomach area.  Due to shocking operation being done to her, she picked up a scalpel to threaten the scientist of 'Westworld' and ran away from the humans.

She ran until she found the place in 'Westworld' Central where decommissioned and seemingly dead hosts are to be reconstructed for another day of storyline. Maeve was extremely shocked about what she found, which is real vision of the hosts' true nature that might lead her to self-discovery. The two scientists have found her eventually and sedated her before she becomes more exposed about what is really happening in the real world.

As a few hosts start to act off-script, how bad can it go? Dr. Ford has made trips in the 'Westworld' trying to fill another storyline as Lee Sizemore's new story was not approved. A small tower with a cross on top is a hint that a new story line in the world of the west might take place.

A speculation of William's bewildeness in 'Westworld' keeps him wearing a white hat, however, if he turns to the black one, the path might get dark, according to Variety. HBO 'Westworld' will continue its third episode on October 16th, according to IMDB. Will the hosts start to be harmful to humans?
