‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Negan Killing Both Glenn & Maggie Hinted At; Daryl Not Safe, Too?

"The Walking Dead" season 7 is coming this month, viewers will finally see who's on the receiving end of Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) baseball bat. Fans have speculated about the identity of Negan's victim and recent rumors have pointed to both Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Glenn (Steven Yeun).

The buzz about Maggie's possible death on "The Walking Dead" season 7 sparked brighter when Cohan has been spotted more than usual off set, TVGuide reported. The actress also let her hair grow out and she even gave a heartfelt (probably goodbye?) speech at the New York Comic-Con.

It should be noted as well that "The Walking Dead" Season 6 left the pregnant Maggie in a somewhat poor condition. But why does Glenn have to die, too? Since the Season 2 episode "Cherokee Rose," (where the couple first had sex) viewers felt a sense that Maggie and Glenn are drawn to each other both physically and romantically.

Glenn was presumed dead in the last season of "The Walking Dead" but Maggie felt it in her heart that he was still alive. If Negan kills either Maggie or Glenn, it's depressing to think about how the other would live without his/her other half. This theory is undoubtedly painful for "The Walking Dead" season 7 viewers but it would also serve as the two's closure and their way of saying goodbye to the world together.

The first hint that Negan's bat would claim the lives of multiple victims was revealed by "The Walking Dead" season 7 executive producer Greg Nicotero. He used the word 'deaths' during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, while Morgan told Den of Geek magazine that Negan is "not just going to kill one person in [the premiere]. He's not afraid of bashing in skulls."

The new "The Walking Dead" season 7 star quote, however, can be read in another way. The actor might mean that Negan would also do other harrowing stuff aside from killing members of Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) gang.

Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) could also be the one to die in Negan's hands. The actor, however, put this rumor to rest and said that the AMC series changed the Abraham and Negan storylines from the books the "The Walking Dead" season 7 was based on.

Then there's Daryl (Norman Reedus). Some "The Walking Dead" fans fear that Daryl would be the one receiving Negan's blows in the Season 7 premiere. This is highly unlikely, though.

Though Rick was introduced as the central character, it was Daryl who emerged as the highly popular series' face. Killing him in "The Walking Dead" season 7 would probably hurt the show in some way.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 23 on AMC. Watch the promo below.
