'Vikings' Season 4 Spoilers & Update: Ragnar's Plot Will Be Emotional; Season 5 Confirmed! Jonathan Rhys Meyers Joins Cast

The "Vikings" will soon return to the small screens but the hype about its midseason premier is unstoppable. According to "Vikings" Season 4 spoilers, the next episodes will be emotional especially for Ragnar.

Per International Business Times, Travis Fimmel's character, Ragnar will return home and see his sons. He will also continue his unfinished business in "Vikings" Season 4. However, there are rumors that Ragnar might die in the next "Vikings" episodes.

"Vikings" creator Michael Hirst teases that Travis made an outstanding and performance. He added that the upcoming "Vikings" episode is emotional as it covers Ragnar and his sons.

He also added that the second part of "Vikings" Season 4 will be unbelievable. He complimented Travis on delivering a powerful performance and teased that fans will not believe it. Hirst also warned "Viking" fans to "prepare to shed a lot of tears." This only intensifies that reports that the beloved character might bid goodbye in "Vikings" for good.  With Ragnar leaving his sons behind, there are rumors that the upcoming "Vikings" Season 4 episodes will highlight the rise of his crippled son Ivar the Boneless. Meanwhile, to add excitement and fun in the series, Rollo will return in "Vikings" for a face-off with his brothers and sons.

For those who wish to see more of "Vikings," good news because Season 5 is already confirmed. Per Inquisitr, "Vikings" Season 5 is renewed and there are already reports about the casting call.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is one of the new faces in "Vikings" Season 5. Reports have it that he will play a major role in the next "Vikings" Season. However, at the time, there is little to no information of what Viking will he be playing or if he is a Viking in the first place.
