Alec & Hilaria Baldwin Show Off Two-Week-Old Rafael in Intimate Family Photoshoot: 'Alec is so Excited to be a Dad to a Son' Says New Mom

Earlier this month on June 17, couple Hilaria, 31, and Alec Baldwin, 57, welcomed their first son, Rafael. The family will be sharing glimpses of their life with their newborn and 20-month-old daughter, Carmen, in an intimate photoshoot. 

Alec and Hilaria were filled with pride when they released a series of family portraits featuring their two-week-old son. The couple is captured cuddling with their children, Rafael and Carmen. There were also photos of the couple smiling at Rafael's tot in his nursery, Mail Online reports. Check some of the family's intimate photo here and here.

However, despite the joy and bliss on their faces, Hilaria's second pregnancy didn't go well as there were complications. The well-known Yoga instructor revealed that Rafael had a premature birth, but the baby boy is in his perfect health, weighing 7 lbs. The second-time mom took it positively and even joked that she was lucky her tyke arrived earlier than his due date because if he stayed for several weeks more, he could be huge.

Hilaria's another concern is Carmen's reaction to his younger brother. To prepare Carmen for her new role as an older sister, she bought her dolls and named them Rafael. They dressed them together and changed their diapers. Carmen would then kiss her mom's stomach as she called him "Rafa! Rafa!"

"Carmen is the best big sister. She wants to kiss him, hold him, play with him and sing to him, " Hilaria said in the same report. When Hilaria finally delivered her first son and the new big sister visited them she was overjoyed.  

Hilaria described the first meeting of her two children, "She was so excited the first time she saw him. She had been hearing about Rafael forever and now there he was. The second day she came to the hospital to visit us, she ran in screaming "Rafa! Hermano! Rafa! Hermano!"

Between the two, Hilaria said that her youngest is more easy and relaxed compared to Carmen. Carmen hated being naked, so there were cute dresses that she was not able to wear on Carmen, but the case is different with Rafael.

The new mom said  "Rafael is very calm. I can change him as many times as I want. He's a little poser - he puts his hands behind his head and stretches out. Carmen has a fiery personality and this little guy is like, 'I'll do whatever you want me to do, Mom!'," Mail Online has learned.

Aside from Carmen, the little boy's arrival also excites Alec. When the couple learned that they were having a son, the actor-producer was not able to contain his joy that he walked for an hour carrying a football. He could not believe it.  "Alec is so excited to be a dad to a son, " reveals the second time mom. Rafael is Alec's first son.

In a report from People, Hilaria revealed that their son has inherited some of Alec's feature, including his nose and one ear. The proud mom added that Rafael's lips and chin were hers.
