Tobey Maguire & Jennifer Meyer Ends 9 Years Of Marriage; Here Is A Peek At Their Love Story

Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer have recently released a statement to announce that they have decided to separate after nine years of marriage. However, fans of Maguire and Meyer need not be too sad as the couple made it clear that they remain good friends. Additionally, reports claimed that the two are supporting each other and both are also committed to the well being of their kids.

The "Spider-Man" actor has two children with Meyer, a 9-year-old daughter named Ruby and a 7-year-old Son named Otis. In a report from Entertainment Tonight, Maguire and Meyer are said to be great parents to their children and the couple are actually focused mainly on them. "Tobey and Jen love those kids so much and will make sure their lives don't change overnight," Entertainment Tonight reported.

Reports claimed that Maguire and Meyer realized that they have grown apart and became two changed people. Their split seems to be a mutual decision as a source from Entertainment Tonight said that their separation was not caused by any specific or dramatic situation. As the report stated, the couple's "marriage fell apart over the course of time."

Maguire met Meyer, a jewelry designer and daughter of famous Hollywood executive Ron Meyer, in 2003 when "The Great Gatsby" star was shooting for the movie "Seabiscuit," Celebsnow reported. The couple then married in Hawaii after four years of being together. Their marriage is an intimate one wherein only a small group of friends and families were present to witness the ceremony.

Maguire and Meyer celebrated their marriage happily and Meyer even said that it was the best time of her life. "Let's just say this is truly the best time of my life. I'm walking on air. I'm getting married, starting a family and have an amazing company," Mirror reported.
