It's the end of making a web of love for married couple Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer after 9 years of marriage. They broke the news of their divorce with a joint statement. Their two children from this union, 9-year-old Ruby and 7-year-old Otis, remain their priority according to Maguire during a People magazine interview.

Jennifer Meyer maintains a low profile amidst the latest development. The 41-year-old Spiderman actor and 39-year-old jewelry designer for Hollywood A-listers were sparsely seen in public, finally leading to this official announcement of divorce.
According to ET Online, the divorce was brought on by an evolving change between Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer. Unlike other explosive celebrity divorces, theirs was caused by a slow build up and irreconcilable changes that made them grow apart from each other.
Albeit being relatively private, Maguire has openly expressed his enduring devotion for his children and role as a father. The Spiderman actor takes his role as a father very seriously.
Prior to this announcement, Jennifer Meyer was last seen shooting and working on her new clothing line. She has had tremendous success in designing minimalist and elegant jewelry for other Hollywood stars like Anna Kendrick and Kate Hudson. Her Instagram posts on her jewelry line were interspersed with some cryptic quotes about strength and hardship but has no direct reference about her ongoing divorce proceedings.
