19-Year-Old Teen Ridiculed After Tweeting Views About Tampons Tax

In an outburst about Tampon being tax-free, a 19-year-old teenager from London has been mocked extensively after saying via Twitter that women should just close their legs and "control their bladder."

Ryan Williams tweeted this week his eccentric opinions on female hygiene products and female anatomy by telling that tampons should not be free and if a woman cannot hold her period till she gets to a bathroom, then it's her fault. However, his tweet can't be seen now as his account has been shut down.

For Ryan Williams, a photographer student in Norwich, tampons are luxury items. That is why when it was reported that tampon would not be taxed, he got annoyed and compelled to air his views on social media being, as quoted by The Sun, the "politician and youth adults spokesperson" online.

This week, Ryan tweeted, saying people are saying tampons shouldn't be taxed because they are a necessity, The Sun has learned. He added but why can't those women just learn to control their bladders and if they are going to bleed then they should wait until they get to the toilet.

Since he aired his opinions, people mocked and criticized him. The worst is he has even received death threats from feminists, the Mirror has learned. "I have even had death threats," the Mirror quoted. The teen's tweets got 1,938 and were shared by 1,965 people, according to reports.

The teenager's tweets prompted hundreds of comments from users who were fast to emphasize the issue with his arguments, the nzeherald.co.nz has found out. One Twitter user commented on the teen's tweet saying "imagine being this stupid to think that women can force their uterus to shed off all the blood," the nzeherald.co.nz quoted, while another user commented "rude and ignorant" on Ryan's tweets.

Meanwhile, the 19-year-old teenage Londoner has launched a GoFundMe page he called "Stop the Blob," the Mirror has found out. From this, he wishes to raise £1,000 to fund biology lessons after ridiculed on airing his bizarre opinions, the Mirror added.
