'Star Wars 8' Spoilers: Carrie Fisher Spoils Han Solo's Funeral; Main Characters To Reunite?

`"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has indeed woken up the force of every "Star Wars" fans. But delighted as they may be, a lot were devastated to see Han Solo (Harrison Ford) die in the arms of his son, Kylo Ren on "Star Wars 8." Although there were rumors going around from fan to fan that Solo has survived, Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) may have spoiled a not-so-good news for "Star Wars 8."

According to Huffington Post, Fisher attended Star Wars Celebration Europe and sat down for a panel. During the said event, panel host Warwick Davis asked the actress what she knew about the time in between of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

The actress has apparently mixed the question with the timeline between "The Force Awakens" and "Star Wars 8." Her intro to the misunderstood question might have given out a huge spoiler.

"Han's funeral..." Fisher said. She then realized her mistake and quickly answered the intended question.

However, she quickly covered her mistake by saying something about her character and Han Solo's relationship. She described their life together as a "volatile" relationship which have lead to them being estranged. 

Nonetheless, it seemed like the words have already done their job. Fans became a lot more saddened by the apparent confirmation that Solo is indeed dead. Now, new "Star Wars 8" speculations are going around.

This time, it pertains to the Solo funeral which will likely take place on "Star Wars 8." Aussie Network News reported that there will be twist among the main characters of the franchise. It is also said that they may all reunite on "Star Wars 8" to send Solo off to the next life.

As of now, fans will just have to wait for "Star Wars 8" and see what the movie will bring them. The movie is slated to come to theaters on Dec. 17.

It seems likely that fans will not be able to see Ford's character in upcoming "Star Wars 8" and upcoming episodes. However, an untitled Han Solo spinoff movie is said to be coming this 2018.

According to Moviepilot, Alden Ehrenreich was cast as the lead. He will play the young Han Solo. The story is said to focus on the origins of the "Star Wars" favorite.
