‘Vikings’ Season 5 Latest Updates, Air Date & News: Part 2 Stars Travis Fimmel, Jonathan Rhys Meyers Joined By Murderer Turned Prince?

"Vikings Season 5" stars Travis Fimmel (Ragnar Lothbrok) and Jonathan Rhys Meyers will be joined in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 by a murderer turned prince. Adding to the drama of "Vikings Season 4" Part 2, where Ragnar Lothbrok faces danger and Jonathan Rhys Meyers is introduced, Darren Cahill ("Red Rock") will take on the role of royalty.

Herald.ie reports that "Vikings Season 5" star Jonathan Rhys Meyers will not be the only one introduced in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2. Darren Cahill will be presented as a Norse prince in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 while Ragnar Lothbrok rebuilds his relationship with his sons.

Fans of Ragnar Lothbrok would be happy to know that according to Darren Cahill filming for "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 is progressing well. Darren Cahill also revealed that, similar to Jonathan Rhys Meyers, his role in the "Vikings" series is a tightly kept secret.

For Darren Cahill the switch from being a murderer at "Red Rock" to a Norse prince in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 was bemusing. Perhaps Darren Cahill will quickly learn in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 that, Norse prince or not, one can very quickly have tables turned on them in the History series.

Certainly, Ragnar Lothbrok learned this when he suffered defeat by Rollo (Clive Standen) and the Parisians at the "Vikings Season 4" Part 1 finale. Ragnar Lothbrok jumped from hero to zero then.

Happily, Ragnar Lothbrok is taking back his throne and his title at the "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 premiere as Parent Herald cites. Just as well as Ragnar Lothbrok will find his sons Bjorn, (Alexander Ludwig), Ivar The Boneless (Alex Hogh Anderson), Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith), Sigurd (David Lindström) and Hvitserk (Marco Islo) raring to make their mark in the world in.

Their exploits in "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 will reel in the presence of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who is purported to play an English lord with whom Ivar The Boneless will go head-to-head. Unfortunately the entanglement for Ragnar Lothbrok and Ivar The Boneless with Jonathan Rhys Meyers' character will spill over to "Vikings Season 5."

Come "Vikings Season 5," Ragnar Lothbrok is believed to take on a more instructional role. Ivar The Boneless, Bjorn, Ubbe, Sigurd and Hvitserk will be taking much of their instructions from Ragnar Lothbrok come "Vikings Season 5."

Ragnar Lothbrok is also believed to be on borrowed time in "Vikings Season 5." So much so that Ragnar Lothbrok may not stay the full run of "Vikings Season 5."

History is scheduled to air the "Vikings Season 4" Part 2 premiere, "The Outsider," on Nov 30. "Vikings Season 5" is anticipated to run by midseason of 2017. Are you looking forward to seeing Travis Fimmel (Ragnar Lothbrok) and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the same series come "Vikings Season 4" Part 2?
