"The Vampire Diaries" showrunner Julie Plec announced that Nina Dobrev has already expressed her interest n joining the last run of "The Vampire Diaries" suggesting a potential Delena reunion in "TVD" season 8.

"She and I have spoken and I know that she 100 percent wants to be there ," Julie Plec told Entertainment Online about Nina Dobrev's return in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 as Elena. Yes, you read it right, Ian Somerhalder's ex is coming back to reprise her role as Elena in "TVD" paving the way for a potential Delena romance.

Let's not deny it, "The Vampire Diaries" fans want Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder on the small screen together.
