‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 News Update, Release: ‘TWD’ Premiere Crossed Line, Beginning Of End For Daryl Dixon? No More ‘Caryl?’

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere crossed a line in the death of Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and "TWD" Romeo, Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), where Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) will see the beginning of the end. Touted "The Walking Dead" fan favorite, Daryl Dixon may be going down a road where no "Caryl" with Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) waits.

Realistically, killing off Daryl Dixon at "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere would have been suicide for "TWD." However, having Daryl Dixon needlessly cause fellow fan favorite Glenn Rhee meet his comic book end, as creator Robert Kirkman wrote, at "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere seemed suspect.

Will Daryl Dixon be made to make similar blunders in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 to chip away at fan confidence in this "TWD" hero? In the past, at "The Walking Dead" fans found Daryl Dixon reliable to keep his head on while "TWD" characters went haywire.

Among "The Waking Dead" characters, Daryl Dixon became invincible not because of his massive "TWD" fan base. Daryl Dixon was an untouchable "TWD" character because "The Walking Dead" series developed him as a likeable and believable survivor.

In the past, the sight of Michonne (Danai Gurira), Carol Peletier or Daryl Dixon during mayhem often brooked optimism in the hearts of "The Walking Dead" fans. However, "The Walking Dead" fans should watch now which places "TWD" takes Daryl Dixon.

After Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) eliminated Glenn Rhee and Abraham Ford from "The Walking Dead," Daryl Dixon was dragged away by The Saviors. Perhaps other similar situations will arise in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 for Daryl Dixon.

"The Walking Dead" series may be stripping "TWD" characters as Daryl Dixon, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Carol Peletier of their hero status as "TWD" now moves toward what Gail Anne Hurd revealed. Parent Herald cites report by The Mirror where Gail Anne Hurd revealed that all "The Walking Dead" will have an ending before the AMC series wraps.

Unless "The Walking Dead" Season 7 changes tunes, "TWD" fans may be farther from a "Caryl" possibility for Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier. Do you think "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere could have been done better?
