‘Quantico’ Season 2 Episode 5 Spoilers & Preview: Alex & Ryan Busted By Harry? Terrorists Corner Alex In The Future

The upcoming episode of "Quantico" Season 2 next week spells trouble for Alex (Priyanka Chopra). This week's "Quantico" episode showcased Alex going undercover with the AIC to infiltrate their inner workings and bring them down. The mission, however, will put her in more jeopardy.

In next week's "Quantico" episode titled "KMFORGET," Harry (Russell Tovey) will be more determined than ever at the Farm to be privy to Alex and Ryan's plan. Owen (Blair Underwood) will recruit Leon (Aarón Díaz) for a special assignment, which is probably connected to Shelby (Johanna Brady), TV.com reported.

KMFORGET is a CIA cryptonym of a program "where stories planted by the agency in one country would be clipped and mailed to media in other countries," according to Mary Ferrell Foundation. These efforts "enhanced the likelihood that the stories would be seen by an American correspondent and transmitted home."

Photos from episode five of "Quantico" Season 2 showed Leon and Shelby together. How their paths will cross is still unknown at this point.

In the future, Alex will continue evading and outmaneuvering the terrorists but she appears to fail that challenge, with the terrorists cornering her. Alex and Raina (Yasmine Al Massri) failed their mission to bring down the terrorists because of double agent Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis).

"Quantico" showrunner Josh Safran said that the "Quantico" crew had always planned for Miranda to be the double agent. Episode five will showcase Shelby finding "the next opening" that she will use to stop Miranda's plans. Safran also confirmed that Alex is the one in the most danger in the future storyline, given how many terrorists stormed the building to locate her.

Episode four of "Quantico" also revealed that Leigh (Heléne Yorke) has been putting a bug on her fellow recruits. Safran didn't disclose what's going to happen to Leigh, but he assured fans that episode five is "one of the best episodes" their crew did and even compared it to the likes of "Ocean's Eleven" and "Out of Sight," Entertainment Weekly reported.

Safran said that "Quantico" viewers will know how hacker Eric Boyer (Derek Klena) fits into the terrorist plot. The whole hostage crisis on "Quantico" will not be drawn out and will be wrapped by the end of Season 2. Safran said that Boyer's arc was touched by "how hackers are affecting the political landscape" in the world now.
