OnePlus 4 Latest Updates: Specifications Of OnePlus 4 Revealed; Chinese Company To Offer A Tough Fight For Samsung And Apple?

With a head to head competition between Samsung, Apple and OnePlus in the high-end smartphone market, the wait that users have to undergo before setting their eyes on the next sensational smartphone has invariably been lowered. OnePlus has revealed the specifications of the OnePlus 4, which is likely to hit the markets next year.

OnePlus is all set to sweep bigger rivals such as Samsung and Apple who have geared up for the release of their next smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy 8 and the iPhone 8 respectively. The OnePlus 3 which was a huge success in the market has made way for its successor, the OnePlus 4 phone. It is expected that the OnePlus 4 will be taking over its competitors in terms of both features and price.

The company's Co-Founder, Carl Pei confirmed that OnePlus 4 will boast of a superior display panel that uses Optic AMOLED instead of an LCD one, cited International Business Times. The replacement of the traditional LCD display by the Optic AMOLED would ensure a greater color vibrancy and saturation on the OnePlus 4.

The 2017 release phone will have a 5.5-inch display screen with 2K or QHD resolution marking the entry of OnePlus 4 into the true virtual reality space. Reports speculate that OnePlus 4 will be sporting the latest Qualcomm chip Snapdragon 830 paired with a massive 8GB RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat. In addition, it is likely that the OnePlus 4 will be launched with a 23-megapixel rear camera coupled with a brilliant 8-megapixel shooter in the front camera.

In an effort to incorporate a more powerful CPU and a high-resolution display, the battery of the OnePlus 4 is expected to be bigger. The battery size of OnePlus 4 will be increased from 3500 mAh of the OnePlus 3 to a 4000 mAh battery.

Despite these new enhanced specifications, the price of OnePlus 4 will be reasonably affordable. The OnePlus 4 will be priced below $400 and is slated for release by June 2017.
