'Jane The Virgin' Season 3 Spoilers & News: Rafael's New Girlfriend Is Jane's Cousin - When Will She Appear?

Team Rafael on "Jane The Virgin" has lost it to Team Michael. Executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman confirms that Rafael (Justin Baldoni) is moving on from Jane with a new romance. Curiously, his new girlfriend is someone who is still linked with Jane (Gina Villanueva), as she is a cousin who remains unidentified at this point.

Viewers will get to know Rafael's new girlfriend on "Jane the Virgin" in the fifth and sixth episode of the season this November. TV Guide reports that Jane will not be OK about her cousin dating Rafael even she's already married to Michael.

Things are still bound to get complicated with her and the father of her first-born. EP Jennie Snyder Urman confirmed Rafael's new girlfriend's relationship with Jane and it will bring more drama, according to Indie Wire. "What happens when [Rafael] dates someone Jane doesn't like? What happens when that person wants to get their hands on Mateo?" Jennie Snyder Urman insinuates.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of "Jane the Virgin," which airs on Monday, Oct. 31, at 9:00 p.m. will feature the much-awaited cameo of Gloria and Emilio Estefan. The cast and crew consider their appearance as one of the best days on the set. "It was like having our tio and our tia visit us, and come hang out with us," Andrea Navedo (Xiomara) said, per E! Online.

The special "Jane the Virgin" episode was directed by an equally big-named star -- Eva Longoria. Incidentally, it's also the episode where Jane will finally have sex for the first time. Her experience with Michael will be full of emotions.

"Once we get rid of the virgin thing, we can just open it up to other things that define here, which I hope the series has done, but we can really focus on it," the executive producer notes, according to Seattle PI. The milestone is not just going to be big for Jane but also for the rest of direction of "Jane the Virgin."
