'Half Life 3' Release Date: Third Installment With VR Support Confirmed? Out In 2018?

Gamers all over the world are still waiting after Valve officially announced a decade ago "Half-Life 2" episode 3, which brings them to so many speculations that it will be out in 2018. Plenty of news and rumors have also spread about "Half-Life 3" on its probably new feature that astounded the gaming nation - the Virtual Reality (VR) support.

After showing a cheeky poster of "Half-Life 3" in Gamescom, its avid fans and subscribers have gone mad about the possible release of the version on a future date, which was later figured out to be on 2018. This is a reasonable time for Valve to fully develop the "Half-Life 3," with a very interesting new feature.

However, the said poster appeared to only have been posted by a media company with a humorous intent, far from being an advert for Valve's highly-anticipated "Half-Life" trilogy and that it contained the words Half-Life and the figure 3, the number of players who originally played it back then said Euro Gamer.

According to Game Spot, with the logos at the bottom of the poster, it looks like it has been paid for by spieletipps and GIGA games. It was some excellent trolling that resembled both passion and utmost commitment according to them.

On the other hand, "Half-Life" writer Marc Laidlaw, after 18 years of working everything from "DOTA 2" to "Half-Life" at Valve confirmed that he has retired from the company. Which many believe to be an eternity for the games industry! Laidlaw while working at Valve, would always write novels before its fusion into the video games, and speculations suggest like he is getting back to writing, said Rock Paper Shotgun.

However, optimist fans would entertain only the matters regarding its future release in 2018 with Virtual Reality Support that would even make it better but have not yet been confirmed by Valve.
