Samsung Galaxy Note 7 US Recall: Get Excited On The New Galaxy Note 7, Will Be Releasing Soon, Find Out When

The most awaited Galaxy Note 7, a capable Android phone that showcases Samsung's best in design, faces an unexpected result to its users. After its release, US Consumer Product Safety Commission announces its recall.

The said device was reportedly exploding and easily catches fire. Samsung received reports that there are 92 batteries overheating, 26 burns, and 55 property damages.

According to the Consumer Protection Agency, the lithium-ion battery in the Galaxy Note 7 smartphones can overheat and catch fire, posing a serious burn hazard to consumers. The phone itself is energy-dense and can operate under such high power that they can combust in a particularly catastrophic way. This statement was extracted from Donal Finegan, a chemical engineer at University College London.

Overheating is so typical nowadays because of the environment, such as hot car and the heat from the sun or through heat transferred to a battery from another component inside the phone and can begin within battery itself, which is what's behind the battery cell issues in Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 according to Salon.

Despite the announcement, several stubborn establishments still sell the devices. In response to this, US Consumer Product Commission issued a formal recall for one million smartphones. AFP report says that the notice of the US affects around one million of the global total of 2.5 million handsets being recalled, which cast a cloud over the South Korean electronics giant  and world's largest smartphone vendor.

Samsung confirmed the news and encouraged people to use another replacement until the new Galaxy Note 7 will be released. The improved version of the said model's release is yet to be announced. The news is a large blow to the Samsung Company for it is the largest recall the smartphone industry has encountered. Several electronics makers decided to make their products safe and not dangerous to the people.
